Privacy

Yaaft collects no personal data. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising, and the app sends nothing anywhere.

The app

Your files travel only over the USB cable, straight between your Mac and your phone. They never pass through a server, ours or anyone else’s.

Yaaft cannot reach the internet: its App Sandbox grants it no network access. Nothing in it could send data out — no analytics, no crash reports, no update checks.

What it keeps stays on your Mac: whether you turned on “Open When a Device Is Connected”, and the diagnostic messages macOS keeps in its system log for every app.

It can open only the files and folders you choose, by dragging them or picking them in a dialog, and your Downloads folder, where saving starts.

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking.

It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver the pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the addresses of the pages you request, and may receive a report when a page fails to load.

Fonts and icons are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google also receives your IP address when a page loads them.
